At Blancchics, we use only quality materials to craft our jewellery. To keep your pieces looking their best, please follow the care instructions below based on the material of your piece.

Stainless Steel

  • Wipe with a soft, dry cloth after each wear to remove oils and dirt.
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to water, sweat, and harsh chemicals such as bleach or chlorine.
  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Titanium Stainless Steel

Titanium stainless steel is a premium, lightweight, and highly durable alloy that offers superior scratch and corrosion resistance. It is also hypoallergenic, making it suitable for sensitive skin.

  • Wipe with a soft, dry cloth after each wear to keep it looking its best.
  • Although highly resistant to corrosion, we recommend avoiding prolonged exposure to harsh chemicals and saltwater.
  • Store in a cool, dry place, preferably in a pouch or jewellery box.

18K Gold Plated

  • Avoid contact with perfume, lotion, and hairspray as chemicals can cause the plating to fade faster.
  • Remove before swimming, showering, or exercising.
  • Gently wipe with a soft cloth after wearing to maintain its shine.
  • Store separately in a pouch or jewellery box to prevent scratching.

925 Sterling Silver

  • Polish regularly with a silver polishing cloth to prevent tarnishing.
  • Store in an airtight bag or jewellery box when not in use.
  • Avoid exposure to moisture, perfume, and household chemicals.
  • Remove before swimming or bathing.

Baroque Pearls

  • Pearls are delicate — always put them on last after applying makeup, perfume, and hairspray.
  • Wipe gently with a soft damp cloth after wearing.
  • Store flat in a soft pouch, away from other jewellery that may scratch them.
  • Avoid soaking in water or exposing to harsh chemicals.

Gemstones

  • Clean gently with a soft brush and mild soapy water, then rinse and pat dry.
  • Avoid ultrasonic cleaners unless specified safe for your gemstone type.
  • Store separately to prevent scratching between pieces.
  • Keep away from extreme heat or direct sunlight which may affect colour.

Crystals

  • Wipe with a soft, dry cloth — avoid soaking in water as it may loosen settings.
  • Keep away from harsh chemicals and abrasive surfaces.
  • Store in a soft pouch or lined jewellery box to protect the crystal surface.

General Care Tips

  • We recommend removing all jewellery prior to showering, bathing, and sleeping to preserve its quality and longevity.
  • Gently wipe each piece with a dry, lint-free cloth or soft tissue after every wear to remove any residue or moisture.
  • Store your jewellery in a cool, dry place, preferably in an individual pouch or a lined jewellery box to prevent scratching and tarnishing.
  • Avoid direct contact with harsh chemicals, including household detergents, acidic solutions, and perfumes, as these may cause discolouration or damage to the material and finish.
  • Always apply perfume, lotion, and hairspray before putting on your jewellery.
  • Store each piece separately to avoid tangling and scratching.
  • Regular gentle cleaning will help maintain the beauty and longevity of your jewellery.
